OnGuard Technologies, Inc. and OnGuard Security Services, Inc. (together, “OnGuard”) operate and maintain an AI-powered platform and mobile app that enables businesses (“Clients”) and vetted security professionals (“Guards”) to connect for on-demand and scheduled security assignments. When you (“You”) use our platform—including our websites, mobile applications, content, and services (collectively our “Services”)—you provide your information to us. Because we value your privacy, this policy (our “Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, use, and disclose Your personal information.

2.1. Information You Provide to Us

To match available security assignments with qualified Guards, both Clients and Guards must register for and maintain an active Services account (“Registered Account”). Depending on Your role, this may include:

  • Full name, email, phone number, and physical address

  • Driver’s license, guard card, firearms permit, and related security licensing documentation

  • Social Security number or similar identifiers

  • Photos, work history, resume, reference contact info

  • Demographics, such as race/ethnicity (optional)

  • Banking or payment information

  • Login credentials

  • Optional calendar sync and address book access

We may also collect biometric information (e.g., facial mapping) for identity verification purposes via third-party tools, subject to Your consent at time of collection.


2.2. Information Created When You Use The Services

This may include:

  • Location Data

  • GPS-based tracking may be required to confirm attendance or eligibility for certain shifts.

  • Transaction Data

  • Engagement dates, shift types, hours, locations, wages, tips, and payment history.

  • Usage & Preference Data

  • Device type, browser, operating system, settings, and app behavior.

  • Log Files

  • IP address, access timestamps, error logs, and third-party referral sources.

  • Communications

  • Call logs, message content, in-app chats between Guards and Clients, and communication metadata.

  • Device Contacts & Calendar Access

  • With permission, we may use this data to improve scheduling or referrals.


2.3. Information From Other Sources

We may collect or supplement your profile using:

  • Public databases or marketing partners

  • Credential verification services

  • Employment or licensing databases

  • References or Client feedback

  • Social networks (if linked)


3. Disclosure and Use

We use your information to provide, personalize, maintain, and improve our Services, including to:

  • Facilitate matches between Clients and Guards

  • Process payments and transactions

  • Enable messaging and coordination between users

  • Conduct background or licensing checks

  • Provide support, dispute resolution, and safety audits

  • Send updates, promotions, or Service announcements

  • Develop and improve features, AI-matching tools, and scheduling logic

  • Satisfy legal, compliance, and insurance obligations

  • Analyze trends and service metrics

We may disclose information to:

  • Other users (Clients or Guards)

  • Your references

  • Third-party vendors (e.g., hosting, payments, identity verification)

  • Regulatory agencies as required

  • Affiliated companies or successors in interest

We also reserve the right to anonymize or aggregate your data for analytics, product development, and marketing purposes.



4. Other Authorized Disclosures

We may share or preserve your information when:

  • Required by law or court order

  • Investigating fraud or security concerns

  • Transferring company ownership or platform assets

  • Assisting law enforcement or regulatory bodies

  • Enabling authorized agents to act on Your behalf

  • Supporting the delivery of international Services


4.1. Security

We implement safeguards to protect Your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage You to also protect Your login credentials and communications.


4.2. Third-Party Tools and Ads

OnGuard may use third-party APIs, cookies, SDKs, or analytics providers such as Google Analytics. These services may track Your behavior, but you can opt out through your browser settings or via privacy control tools outlined in Section 8.1 of this policy.



5. International Use

OnGuard operates in multiple countries. By using the services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and governed by the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdictions where OnGuard or its partners operate.



6. Eligibility

By using the Services, you affirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. OnGuard does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.



7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access or correct your personal information

  • Delete your data

  • Opt out of marketing messages

  • Revoke consent or file a privacy complaint

  • Restrict or object to certain data uses

  • Appeal decisions related to denied privacy requests
